easterneagle87 Posted December 29, 2019 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2019 I am humbled to be able to hold these medals in my hand. A little leg work worked out for me. I am the proud conservator of this grouping. Named Silver Star and Purple Hearts, to LT Paul Mcrae Henderson JR, USNR, Navy Ace KIA of Iwo https://valor.militarytimes.com/hero/311279 The grouping arrived with: SS, PH, Pacific Campaign and WW2 Victory medal. Additionally, a small framed photo of Henderson and his folks. Opened it up and it is dated 1944.

easterneagle87 Posted December 30, 2019 Author Share #15 Posted December 30, 2019 Thanks everyone for your kind comments. You never know what is going to come next. In fact, the person whom I got the medals from said he had a picture and asked if I would I be intereted. The more info and pieces that can be held together, the better. And after so many years, Of course I said, "Yes". This is following along to join the medals.
