Steve D. Posted February 4, 2019 Author #29 Posted February 4, 2019 This Class wing was part of the Ruth Robert's grouping. Any information regarding the unique shield numbers would be appreciated! Ruth was a trainee in 43-5 and graduated in 43-6.

VickiMouse Posted February 6, 2019 #35 Posted February 6, 2019 Incredible collection. I really enjoy seeing the paperwork since Im trying to learn about the Wasp. I just went to the WASP museum which is wonderful. I collect Disney items which of course includes the Fifinella insignia. Thank you for posting.

rustywings Posted February 11, 2019 #39 Posted February 11, 2019 This WASP thread just gets better and better! Thanks Steve...
mikie Posted March 31, 2019 #41 Posted March 31, 2019 Fantastic collection. It is great that you are honoring these women.
Steve D. Posted March 12, 2023 Author #43 Posted March 12, 2023 A recent addition to my WASP collection: An exercise suit worn by Grey Allison Hoyt 44-W4 during daily calisthenics. I was also recently able to trade one of my winter santiago blue flight suits for the summer version. Still looking to buy a summer version dress uniform, or trade for one of my extra winter versions.

aerialbridge Posted March 18, 2023 #47 Posted March 18, 2023 Any positive developments on that WASP grouping from a few days ago?
dmar836 Posted March 18, 2023 #48 Posted March 18, 2023 With all due respect, I feel it's most appropriate to keep that topic to it's own and not on Steve's thread. JMO, Dave P.S. I'd be greatly interested in patterns and talk of such repros of these items. My wife would never wear one flying Young Eagles or at 99s meetings but I like the process of making.
aerialbridge Posted March 18, 2023 #49 Posted March 18, 2023 They shut down that other thread but point well taken. Hope somebody here that wanted it ends up with it- if the high bidder didn't pay. That's all.

I wear an original olive A-4 for events I do, but would love a Santiago blue to wear, but a repro for that. Plenty of A-4’s floating around, not so much whatever style the WASP ones were. I thought A-4, but the ones Steve posted don’t look it. Does your wife fly Young Eagles? When I get my license and appropriate endorsements, that’s something I want to do. :D Right now, I just fly my daughter, and soon her best friend, in a 172 with my CFI in the right seat. Kids really love it!!
