Patch Tabs

I was given this some 15 or 20 years ago by a friend who was in the 3rd during WWII. He's gone now, bless him but I've always wondered about the tab. I know that just because it's from a vet doesn't always mean it wasn't a re-union pick-up or something that was given to him, etc.

 

I post the back in the next panel.

The Ambulance tab in Post #147 looks British

Here is some information on the Prsident's Hundred tab:

As I understand it's not worn with any particular patch, but in the same way as the Special Forces, Ranger and Sapper tabs.

 

 

You are 100% correct. The Ambulance tab goes over the Civil Defense patch.

Worn over the Virginia NG HQ patch.

 

I would like to respectfully ask that we keep this thread as a reference for which patches the tabs are worn over, not just showing tabs themselves. Sorry if I am being a jerk.
