Joe55 Posted July 26, 2019 #1 Posted July 26, 2019 Greetings all, This tank was actually started a few years ago and sat as a shelf queen until recently. I finally got motivated and got to work. Hope you like the end result. Joe
Garandomatic Posted July 26, 2019 #6 Posted July 26, 2019 Well I think I'm gonna go smash all my attempts! Just kidding... that is NICE.
Joe55 Posted July 26, 2019 Author #9 Posted July 26, 2019 Well I think I'm gonna go smash all my attempts! Just kidding... that is NICE. Thanks for your comment sir! I never smashed any that I can recall. Although during my youth I did get a lot of joy destroying some with firecrackers or the ole trusty .22 !
Joe55 Posted July 26, 2019 Author #10 Posted July 26, 2019 That looks great. Nice photography also. Thanks for your comments sundance!
Old Marine Posted July 27, 2019 #12 Posted July 27, 2019 That is a fine looking piece of work. You did a great job on that model. Well done!
ArtyScout Posted July 27, 2019 #14 Posted July 27, 2019 Nice job Joe. I'm glad you decided to take that queen off the shelf and finish her. I like how the tracks came out and I like the extra gear on the turret. Semper Fi. Manny
Proud Kraut Posted July 29, 2019 #15 Posted July 29, 2019 Stunning, another top model with excellent weathering and detail. Photographed outdoor in front of a "natural" background I'm sure one couldn't distinguish your model from a real tank.
jmd62 Posted July 29, 2019 #16 Posted July 29, 2019 Dang Joe, that's amazing! Thanks for sharing your work my friend : )
patches Posted July 30, 2019 #17 Posted July 30, 2019 Handsomely Executed! Your lead off photo shot of it head on was masterful, a real attention grabber!
Joe55 Posted August 9, 2019 Author #18 Posted August 9, 2019 Mikie, Old Marine, cutiger83, ArtyScout, Proud Kraut, jmd62, and patches, Thanks to all of you for looking over my latest effort and your comments. Most appreciated! Joe
Joe55 Posted August 10, 2019 Author #20 Posted August 10, 2019 Joe, Who is the maker of that kit? Its the Tamiya offering that was released around the late 90s.
superchief Posted August 14, 2019 #21 Posted August 14, 2019 Great job on the weathering, not overdone, very realistic!
