Bonjour.

I'd like to introduce you to a stretcher found in flea market.

Love it!

Wow! I wonder how many of these still survive. Probably hard to fit into most collections, but worth a try if you have some room. MHJ

Field hospital No. 27 had a "shock team" to get immediate treatment to the most sverely wounded. I know some field hospitals in the far rear lines didn't have loads of combat wounded coming in, but F.H. No. 27 seems to have been in the midst of it, and a stretcher like this probably got lots of use.

On Army source online says, "Field Hospital No. 27 was designated as the triage and located at Verdelot, about 17 km. (10.5 miles) back of the lines."

Bonjour.

Thank you for the interest. I own four stretchers from the same time. In addition to the front areas, there were also the "training areas". Which makes it possible to find equipment.

I have a little room to store.;-)

I love the exhibit!  Is this in your house or a museum-type place?

I don't understand what you mean! Solcarlus.

Thought I'd just post the translations for anyone else reading! :)

Hi croix de guerre.

No, I don't have a French stretcher in my collection.

Cordialement.
