RobL Posted November 12, 2014 Share #1851 Posted November 12, 2014 Hi Lee, Columbia Pictures, as I understand it, will be including the show on their DVD release of Fury. So if you don't see it on Smithsonian, you'll find it there. Rob L.
med-dept Posted November 12, 2014 Share #1852 Posted November 12, 2014 The manager at my local cinema knows my interest in WW2, and brought this round to my place on Monday evening. It's a little large, but I like it all the same. As time allows, I'll move it to the 'war room'! I just finished working on the half-mannequin in the background, too. Original First Pattern Tanker Jacket, Wilson Helmet and Resistals. Cheers, Ben.

willysmb44 Posted November 12, 2014 Share #1855 Posted November 12, 2014 Columbia Pictures, as I understand it, will be including the show on their DVD release of Fury. Thanks, Rob, good to hear that as nobody I know gets Smithsonian here. It was so funny watching the credits to 'Fury,' I found myself saying, "Hey, I know who that guy is, who that guy is.." and when your name rolled around I said, "Okay, I really know that guy!" Garandomatic Posted November 12, 2014 Share #1856 Posted November 12, 2014 Apparently, our local theater sends posters back to whence they came, so no dice here, even when you've got a connection with the management. Rats!

glenm Posted November 24, 2014 Share #1872 Posted November 24, 2014 Saw it for the third(!) time now on Friday with my partner Helen and our local (non-collector) friends and I can certainly say that they were mostly traumatised by the whole thing... but they did all think it was a very good movie. stonewaller Posted November 24, 2014 Share #1873 Posted November 24, 2014 Here are a few Fury props I have purchased recently. Appologies for the crappy iphone pics. Will get better ones when it is all "installed" in the man cave! First up, 76mm packing crate and extra cardboard tube with metal, stamped ends. stonewaller Posted November 24, 2014 Share #1874 Posted November 24, 2014 Next up, a .50 cal ammo crate. I'm not expert, but I have been informed, that it may be original. It's definitely vintage, looking at the inside at least. Repainted however (I assume) and with reproduction , cast plastic, painted wing nuts. stonewaller Posted November 24, 2014 Share #1875 Posted November 24, 2014 This jerry can was off one of the tanks. Not sure which (will have to wait for the blu-Ray!) complete with pyro charges (detonated). And on further investigation of a strange rattle, a .50 cal link!!
