Just recovered this truck from a farm. It's going to be restored back to military. Anyone know what the unit marking on the bumper means? AUGD-TMP.20191013_150447.jpg

A company called MIRA do a 1:18 scale model of a 1953 US Army Chevrolet similar to the one you have recovered .

That's a great looking old truck.  I am looking forward to watching your progress bringing it back to life.

Bullet hole in the windshield? Hope not any more in the body. Still a thing of beauty!

There are a few bullet holes in the metal, too.

It actually belongs to a freind. I found it, but don't have room for another project of this size.

"AUGD" = Army, Utah General Depot(?). I have no knowledge on the subject, but I assumed "A" was for Army, then looked for a "UGD". The Utah Depot immediately popped up.

And, nice truck!
