That Steering Station is a pre-1935 station and the rudder moves on the opposite direction of the wheel movement. Prior to 1935, they used old school tiller orders. After 1935 they used helm orders to eliminate confusion. That was my first wheel I ever purchased. It is not a military steering station but a nice one nevertheless. It came from Brownsville Texas.
