Here is a close-up on the 1st sgt, notice how the cuff is very similar to Australian made Ike jackets? -

Here is a photo I picked up from eBay. A sgt 1st wearing a 90th bomb group patch on what I believe to be an Australian made Ike jacket. It also looks like on the back it is named to Johnnie? Don’t know if there would be anywhere to identify who it is but still. Great photo and glad to have it. -

I tried scratching the finish and it will not scratch. It is an extremely hard coating that is on the Camillus M3 guard , blade, and pommel. Both pommel pins are very shiny. The blade is exactly 6-11/16's. Hmmm, Thank you, VNAMVET70 -

I forgot to include a pic of the gun as of today. It’s coming along nicely, to me anyway. We have the boys again for a week as my daughter is traveling again. So dragging myself away from having fun with them to work on the gun won’t be easy. They’re my boys! mikie -

Just out of curiosity, I tried using the clip as-is. Much to my delight, there is just enough of the broken tab to grip it’s slot. It looks and holds fine enough for a wall hanger! And it is really easy to install and remove if need be. Works for me! Next up will be working on getting the bolt together. I still haven’t gotten through the weld covering the firing pin hole. And that Italian op rod is really bothering me. I’ll be saving my money for a bit and find a Springfield one. But no rush for now. Thanks for looking in! mikie
