Just realized this vest is in Martin Brayley's book Modern Body Armour. Looks like it was an experimental lightweight version of the M69. I'm assuming from around 1972 based on the model number. If anyone has any further info, let me know. -

Just came across this… Dont know why, Ken, but he always makes me think of you… ’This week in 2014, Phil Collins donated his vast personal collection of artifacts from the Battle of Alamo to the Texas General Land Office - which can be viewed as the "Phil Collins collection" at The Alamo museum.
