I recently came across this photo of a two star wearing Soviet awards. 

Before I moved into militaria I used to design and install complete turn key paint plants, conveyors, booth,ovens and the spray equipment or dipping tanks. Looking at how the mats are hung on the conveyor would suggest they were being dipped and not spray painted as hung that way it would be impossible to access all the panel to spray it. As to what the finish is I can't tell from the picture and may well not be paint in the tanks.

Recently found these C-2A(R) COD passenger seats and decided to get them. These are definitely used and slightly abused😁. These were used in VAW-120 on aircraft side # 631. VAW-120 is the East Coast training squadron for the E-2s and C-2s, they are stationed at NAS Norfolk. I took the seats apart and cleaned them up and am pleased with the results. I don’t plan on painting them, I like the usage wear.

Most were 34 thru 38 I would guess--- In less you were in the National Guard for years or a lifer. The largest World War Two uniform  4 pockets I saw was a size 48 dated 1941. The bad part about it was the moths had live there for years !

I have 679### and 684### and the flaming bomb is different from the OP's.
