1964 is when it went away from a riddell style suspension. There were 2 variants of the liner that used it after WW2, with major changes in 1951 and 1955. CC -

I think I over did it a bit, eventually I want to one on a proper front seam so the panels actually sit right on the helmet. I still live the paint job on that one. -

It’s probably an early KW liner, I’m guessing it had the ww2 configuration, with OD7 webbing. -
