Another DUI that shares this distinct backing is the 176th FA. I have a prong-plate screw-back. I don't know if the design exists in pin-back. Dave -

That’s an incredible direction to take the discussion—I’d love to hear from anyone who witnessed a Saturn V launch up close. I can only imagine the raw power and sound. Even from the public viewing areas, it must’ve been unforgettable. Being any closer? That’s history in the making! -

Harrier in the ’80s? That must’ve been awesome—and loud! The way it hovers and roars is something else. Bet the crowd felt it in their chest! -

I saw that ABC made for TV movie too, with Richard Basehart. It's called "Sole Survivor". Enjoy.... https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?&q=richard+basehart+lone+survivor+abc++tv+movie&&mid=0DA8B3A2E0A01373168E0DA8B3A2E0A01373168E&&FORM=VRDGAR -

The Quiet Birdmen Club was founded in the early 1920s by WWI pilots and is still active today. It has been around for over 100 years now and has a large number of famous members. As with everything, collectors do look for these items, although they are generally not that hard to find. Yours is a relatively modern version, so I suspect that the value is rather modest (all things considered). Patrick -

1964 is when it went away from a riddell style suspension. There were 2 variants of the liner that used it after WW2, with major changes in 1951 and 1955. CC -

Awesome. I just wanted to try out restorations with my tetanus helmet first.
