So, there are two types of brass casings. One is for the AA gun, the other for the tank gun. The AA gun casing very rare, the tank gun more common but difficult to find. The AA projectile a Holy Grail, the Tank AT projectiles still can be found. I have both the blue ( TP-T) and black ( AP-T) projectiles. I made an “ adapter” from wood to enable the projectile to sit on the brass casings ( even tho they were seperate loaded) for display purposes. -

Thanks everyone for the information. If it turns out to be a Sea Bee special hopefully it’s still worth the $180 I paid for it. Hopefully there will be someway to discern where it’s authentic. -

I have been following this thread. I do know this 120mm was first used as an AA cannon, ( the Stratosphere AA gun), then adapted for the M103 Heavy tank. I started a thread long ago. -

Im a retired Navy CPO. I did 20 years working on A-6s and F-14s. I was on flight decks for most of that 20 years. The situation I described was a daily occurrence at sea. ATC(AW) ret. 1981-2001. -
