The blade reminds me of a modified fighting/utility knife, (1219C2), from one of the manufactures. If it's theater made, I'de ask; which theater and where & when. It seems very unique and I suspect it was done more recently than WW2. It would be nice to know the back story of this knife. It's a cool knife, but without real provenance I'd keep it in my curiosity part of my knife collection. -

It is dated 1954. The markings say it belongs to a m123 gun. -

I switched gears and went back to working on mounting the barrel. Try as I might, I could not get the barrel lined up correctly. I hated to do it, but I decided to grind away at the barrel threads on the front receiver section. The piece was ruined anyway and they are readily available, which soothed my conscience a bit. Bottom line, things now line up. It’s a little bit loose, but that is easier to fix than too tight. I hope, anyway. -

Absolutely fascinating work! The level of historical detail and storytelling in this diorama is outstanding. The barge setup and figures really bring the scene to life—such a powerful representation of a lesser-known part of the Normandy landings. Thanks for sharing this piece of history! -

Great work! The CH-46 looks fantastic in this scale. I like the paint and decal work—it captures the look of the aircraft perfectly. Always nice to see Hobby Boss kits built up so well! -

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the the OP patch and just included all the other stuff to show more from the 107 TFS/ 127 TFW. But, here's an A-7 era 107 TFS to help with any confusion. Randy
