Honestly, I’m thinking it’s either a very unique ww2 theater made knife, definetly not made in any islands, but maybe Australia? Or NZ? Or it’s Vietnam. The construction looks a little similar to some Vietnam theater knifes, the Sheath also reminds me of those same styles with the little pocketing the outside. -

Wax? why not use the scotch guard water proof spray? I have the Vietnam era canvas, the rubberized and the nylon. The nylon stinks! Everything falls out of it when opened.
