That's the one that I was thinking of. Thanks! I think it's on my Aerial M5 with the early release lever, and I've got quite a few Imperial & Milpar M5A1's, so probably on a few of them too. I used to have an M6 as my go to camping & hunting knife that I lost in my younger days. Been meaning to pick a few up, especially an Aerial M6 since it's a little less common of a maker than some. -

Antique store pick up yesterday. Young Staff Sergeant with 5th Army patch. There appears to be some fraying at the top of the patch, maybe removed from another uniform and re-sewn to this shirt. I was hoping for maybe a bullion patch as I just saw the 5th Army patch and grabbed it adding to my selections, but when I got home and magnified it, it doesn't appear to be. -

Hello all! I recently acquired a Field Grade Remington Rand from the Civilian Marksman Program. Serial number 215XXXX puts it manufacturered in 1945. It also came with an old repair tag from Combined Support Maintenance Shop, Massachusetts Army National Guard for what appears to be a broken safety. Not sure what the date is on it, but "DD Form 1577-2 1 OCT 66" is printed on the bottom of the tag (didn't get captured in the photo). I haven't taken it apart yet to really dig into it, but I am curious to know what can I find out about the history of this firearm and guidance on how I can get more information about it. Can anyone tell me what kind of finish it is? The finish of the thumb safety looks different which makes sense if there was a safety repair. I don't see any markings on the barrel but maybe I need to fully disassemble it? I am new to all this so happy to hear what anyone has to say. Thank you! -
