Also, these were not made during WWI but during WWII. And as Allen said, they were made for patch collectors. -

I'm saddened to hear of the passing of Eric. I mostly traded WWI USMC with his father (Bob) from the 70's-90's. Both were very friendly and definitely an asset to the collecting community over a stretch of many decades. RIP Eric! A good man taken away way too soon. My prayers are with your family. Chuck -

I was given this knife today by a friend. He said that he got it from his F-I-L, who was a WW II vet. I think it is Theater Made piece. Best guesses please. No markings on the knife or sheath that I can see. Maybe under the guard?? Thanks for any info! -

Sorry to bring up an old post but I've been searching for some insight on these utility uniforms. Would it have been plausible to see guys mixing and matching their tops and bottoms? As in using an OG-107 Shirt with a OG-507 bottom? Or would that be against regs? -

. something completely different, well maybe. I recall in the last few weeks someone said that they really enjoyed ' Corned Beef ' well look what I spotted in the supermarket today . . . . . . . . I tried to do a forum search for the post and comment about liking corned beef, sadly didn't find it, however what I did spot was this boxed razor blade that Kevin ( Escht ) found in 2023. I happen to have an identical manufactured boxed razor but this one was specifically made for Red Cross use, now whether that was patients in hospitals, POW's in German camps, or misplaced civilians caused by the war I can't say. Note also that the stock numbers on each carton are different. !! Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, June 17 2O25. …. -

Very sad news, I had a few interactions with Eric over the years and he was always super kind and very helpful. Rest in Peace.
