There doesn't appear to be a unit history specifically for Company B or the entire Battalion. There are several rosters in print, but you already know what information those would provide. Your right. The DAS (Defense Acceptance Stamp) came along just after the Korean War... late 1953ish. On both the plastic handled M4 bayonets and the M5 bayonets. Production started about med 1954. The stamp was used on the M5A1 and M6 bayonet, but not on all M6s have them. The M7 never had one. Here's a not too great picture of the DAS on a Turner Manufacturing M4.
