Thank You everyone for all of your help.   Upon gaining further information from my dad. this IS NOT my grandma. It is her identical twin sister (they were truly identical their parents made them wear different color ribbons as kids to help tell them apart). her husband was in the Marines which would explain the Marine uniform.   thank you all for your help solving this family mystery for me

Isn't that the logo of the "MARSHALL PLAN"? On the US equipment we had in the Corps of Engineers, we could find it under the layer of paint. In the photo, is this an anachronism, if the Dodge is from the US Army?

Uhm, I have a 19th century French piano forte in my living room, complete with a framed ww2 German staff map of the region where I live, hanging over it.  If you cover the U-haul truck and petrol we'll be well on the way to recreate that image.  We had fun recreating this one in Pont Brocard back in 2017 An elderly lady came out to see what we were doing and she said she remembered seeing the men from the 2nd Armored that morning in July 1944.

Hello All,   I hope all is well.  I have 3 items that I might be interested in selling if the offer is satisfactory to me. Please let me know if these interest you and what price you would purchase them for.  The items are as follows and pictures are attached (I can send more per request). Thank you for your time.     1. Ww2 Ghurka soldier handmade Khukri knife with original sheath and two soldier CBI patches (one with blood stain)   2. Ww2 Air Force bail-out survival machete folded   3. 1800s French rifle bayonet with original sheath and triangular blade deemed too harsh for battle in Geneva convention due to the inflicted wound being basically untreatable and fatal to a soldier wounded   I can send as many pics as you request

Another Guam 1945 buckle like my #377 post but with a different and more complete back. On Ebay for $33.  I don't need another, but thought one of you might be interested.  Happy Father's Day all.

Since US wings are also awarded to Foreign soldiers who make Joint/Combined Forces Parachute Jumps, they could be made for wear by allied soldiers. Bottom wings do look like a ROK style badge.

Thank you very much...this helps since there are no markings.

I think these are Navy Variable Density Goggles? Reason I say that is that the rubber housing is grey... They are non functioning. But suitable for display. Im just waiting on another set of sound powered chest rig communications gear.. The one coming in is post war... 50's 60's is my guess. The padding on both of these helmets is intact. The latest talker helmets padding is rubber coated.
