Hi all, I purchased this coat earlier in Weston, West Virginia that named to Joseph F Riley and marked J.F. Riley in the sleeve. It is dated 1941-1942 and appears to have never had insignia sewn. I have found two Joseph F Rileys who served in the Marine Corps. I would like some opinions on which Joseph Riley it could have belonged to. One Joseph Riley served in the 1950s, quickly promoted beyond Private, and served throughout the 50s. I believe he was from Baltimore. I was unable to find his draft card to compare handwriting. The other was a Weston, WV native who enlisted in January 1942, was overseas with by April with the First Marine Raider Battalion, and was killed in action by September 1942. Attached are photos of the uniform and the West Virginia Riley’s draft card. To me, the writing is similar but not an exact match. I would appreciate any thoughts on which Riley this could be. Thank you in advance! -

The shell was made by the Motor Wheel Corporation during the Korean War. It's a high dome shell. -
