As a collector of WWII firearms and accessories, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a sealed box if the price was right. From your photos, the packaging looks pristine and unmolested, adding to its appeal. Sealed parts are getting real hard to find. Thanks for posting. -

That is a beauty. Great addition to any collection. Nice to see there are still such fine examples out there. -

My pleasure! Old altar boys never die, they just outgrow their cassocks. I never thought I'd see an an American Pope, did you? If the White Sox start winning, we'll have to consider the possibility of Divine intervention. 😔 If you didn't already, you can add a friend that went to Loyola (LA) (St. Ignatius of) for grad school. If you're ever out to S. Cal., it would be a pleasure to meet you and break bread. John 8:31-32. -

Here is an acquisition from a recent local show. Really interesting badge and, to me, appears to be jeweler made. It is beautifully detailed, pin has pads, measures 2 7/8", no back mark. John -

Leigh- Thank you so much for this information. This is the only information that my family has besides what was passed down verbally. I do not know what all the designations mean but I can guess that M G is for machine gun. If so, I guess what was passed down sounds correct. If you could post more information when you have time, I would greatly appreciate it. gary -
