Very nice work, Joe. The closeups of his face really tell the story. The uniform and equipment are exquisite, and the groundwork really puts it over the top. I always like how Alpine sculpts their figures. My thing is that they always lack in action poses. But still, excellent! Semper Fi. Manny -

Likely an error from the ribbon set maker, the set looks like it is attached to the original cardboard from where the recipient had likely ordered the set from. -

I recall the descripion of a garrision cap was that it had the visor. So, what would be the answer to my inquiry, why didn't Gen, Eisenhower have the gold braid on the brim of his cap? why did Gen MacArthur have the gold braid on his cap? -

Those pics look better - so be the rigors of Internet finish diagnosis. Lighting, angles, even a wipe-down with an oily rag can dramatically change appearance. -

I can't help but notice that the graffiti extends to include that post war elastic band (calendar months). So someone added a post war band to an original graffitied cover, then added matching graffiti to that?
