Here's a Jane Fonda patch I found at a yard sale last year for fifty cents....The father fought in Korea and I believe he said his son was in the Navy during Vietnam....He had a stack of miscellaneous patches for the same price and I kicked myself for not buying the lot, but I'm hoping this one is an old original VN era patch....Bodes -

I have pictures of the Ike....A friend who runs a body repair business is nice enough to take pics for me, but I'm always concerned with abusing the privilege...He took them almost a month ago and he finally sent them...One day I suspect I will have to become a member of the 21st century...Bodes -

Yeah, the awards are kind of close if you can account for a missing DSM, two missing SS, an incorrectly placed olc on the BSM, and a missing olc on the PH. Oh, and an incorrectly placed AM. Otherwise, it's a perfect match... :) -

It can be done with a LARGE adjustable wrench on the receiver if you have a good way to hold the barrel. Might be a good use for Harbor Freight I guess. What you are running up against is the "draw" which is great on a shooting rifle, but not on a dummy build. I've seen the barrel shoulder trimmed up with what was essentially a hole saw to move it forward to reduce draw. -

Hey Dave, I Can't speak as to why people collect these, but they do. This is mine. Many people collect watches and clocks, these are cross over items. That tics up the demand for them beyond them only being military collectables. For the military aviation collector these are beyond cool. Different clocks flew in different aircraft and that could be a draw to collect each type or just for one type aircraft. They are old school and need no electricity, odds are they were flown and after 80 years they keep very good time. Tens of thousands of all types were made during the war, but time has taken its toll and only so many survive today. Of all the things one could collect very few of them have the ability to give the kind of satisfaction that a working clock gives every day. If someone could find a case of these and flood the market the price would drop a little bit then climb back up. The demand for these is strong. Supply and demand dictates market price. That's just my two cents David -

Might help others if you state where your photos came from, and why you are seeking them.
