Another Guam 1945 buckle like my #377 post but with a different and more complete back. On Ebay for $33.  I don't need another, but thought one of you might be interested.  Happy Father's Day all.

Since US wings are also awarded to Foreign soldiers who make Joint/Combined Forces Parachute Jumps, they could be made for wear by allied soldiers. Bottom wings do look like a ROK style badge.

I think these are Navy Variable Density Goggles? Reason I say that is that the rubber housing is grey... They are non functioning. But suitable for display. Im just waiting on another set of sound powered chest rig communications gear.. The one coming in is post war... 50's 60's is my guess. The padding on both of these helmets is intact. The latest talker helmets padding is rubber coated.

I have an opportunity to purchase these vietnam theater made patches.   This is the only pic I have.   I know it is not much but I'm looking for assistance on identification and any estimates on value on each or entire lot.   (assuming they are authentic).     Any assistance is appreciated.   thanks.   Sammy T

. hi mikie,   Thanks for the shots of the cars at the show, I think this is my favourite, I like it's simplicity of the ones you posted.     Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, June 15  2O25.    ….

Hi, thanks for letting me join your forum.  I'm from England in the United Kingdom and I've been collecting militaria for over 30 years but specifically WWII U.S. Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and cap badges during the last 5 years and I'm really looking forward to getting involved

I’m familiar with the border belle, having served with the  1st sq 14 cav in Fulda. The photo you are unsure of where it was taken ,my guess was taken in Kissingen Germany the first regimental headquarters for the 14th cav after being reconfigured from constabulary duty after the war.  the 14rh Cav consisted of 3 Squadron’s 1/2/3 . locations 1st and Regimental headquarters in Fulda, 2nd and 3rd - Bad Hersfeld / Bad Kissingen . another bit of info , the 14th was the only unit not to rotate to stateside duty after the war. The unit mission was to be forward observer in a region known as Fulda Gap consisting approximately 240 miles along East/ West German Border.
