And the ribbon has a slightly orange shade to it on the wrap brooch numbered version. Compare the color of the ribbon on the posted medal to the color of the extra ribbon section below it. The ribbon section has the more typical darker red shade. I’m still looking for the rare version with the ring suspension on the planchet. -

The easiest way to find a rim numbered Army Good Conduct is to look for a wrap brooch instead of the much more common slot brooch. As far as I know, all numbered GC's came from the same production run and all have a wrap brooch. Allan -

Hello California and thanks for your response. You have great suggestions and I have already implemented most of them, or are on the board.
