All those “advance in Rome” shots are great, highlight in my opinion is what looks like one of the mosquito nets used as a helmet cover, I think this was done by rangers predominantly. -

Promised myself, no more buckles, but like a moth to a flame, I was up late and saw a BIN at a good price and BAM! Like a large mouth bass hitting a frog. There was something a little special about this buckle as it is named to a female, LAURIE REYNOLDS. Not rare, but not common either. AS - Aviation Specialist??? Aviation rating wing with "electronic" bolt and a metal smith hammer. -

Hey guys I bought these while I was in Normandy. There was a small store in arromanches that had a lot of cool stuff and this is where I got them. I was told the 101st was not uniform removed but I tend to disagree. I put it under my microscope and found remnants of red and tan threads. Idk what color thread was used to attach these shoulder insignias. I’d like to know your thoughts on all of these -
