Greetings I found one here that I believe is genuine US Navy.. Could you please confirm and also.. could you please decipher the stenciling on the front? Seller said it was Damage control. Said it was Vietnam era.. Well, its got a Korean era pot and a late 60's liner so I suppose it could have been used at any era up into the 90's... I just really would like confirmation that its indeed a salty old Navy Pot and especially what station it was utilized in, on the ship.? Also I think its a put together as the liner has an outer rust line and I see no corresponding rust line inside the steel. Mainly interested in the steel. Thank you.
