Hey gents, looking for information on this fixed loop helmet with what I’ve found to be the symbol of the free french army. Does this look original to ww2?

Just my two cents, what markings can be seen from these pictures is consistent with original finish as I don't see any rebuild stamps but that's just going off what's been provided.

Well not all is golden in the Mid Atlantic South, Luck is correct, but I think most is up in the North East, thats where most was produced, It seems to stay up there. I have had my share of luck but I am also alot more picky now that I dont need all the gear. In fact I've been  thining it out. The flea market has the 5:30 vultures sitting on the fence waiting to mob the seller before there out of there car, turning over there boxes and digging. It kind of discuss me. So I go less and less. The same crowd at estates sales there at 4:30 am. If they want it that bad go for it. There is more to life than militaria, the older you get. My 2 cents.
