. Hi Sol, Thanks we knew it was a Berliet gas lid but it well suits the hot rod especially at that price, I will have to get a shot of it when it gets done. Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, May 30 2O25. …. -

I've been having good luck at my local secondhand stores, getting things for a song.....Picked up a WW2 Ike jacket. 1944 dated EM USMC Green dress coat, Unused US Army officer's dress cap (1970's - present) with eagle insignia, complete 1945 pack board with straps, B&L Ray Ban Aviator style sunglasses from probably the 70's and lastly a Stetson Derby Hat from the thirties......Bodes -

I was waiting at the front of an antique store for my wife to finish shopping and noticed a small OD pouch in a display case. Imagine my surprise when I opened it up and how quickly I paid the asking price of $15. Now I need to identify the magazine manufacturers. You can see from the indentions the lanyard loops left in the canvas that these have been together for a long time. -

. Hi earlymb. Well I can honestly say that I was looking for a Fram assembly for you, but didn't see one, there are more fairs virtually everyday this coming week, but I won 't be going to them all, there's only one more that I want to go to. I did buy a spare GPW gearbox casing, and should have about 90 / 95 % of the interior parts so I can throw it together to sit on the shelf in case of emergency, It's 1944 dated. Norman D. I've recently come across an early Rock-Ola M1 carbine that's all correct, has no import marks, shows no signs of being arsenal refinished, and It appears to be all original in unissued condition. Any documentation it had was lost when the owner passed, but It appears legitimate. I wanted to post some photos to see what the consensus is before signing the check. Much appreciated.
