Hi, everyone.I have had these 2 for a while and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the era and where they were made? I was told post WW1, but I'm not sure now about that. Thank you for the help. -

Just purchased it! I've heard that these bands are fairly difficult to find still on helmets, is that correct? I think this should do until I can get my hands on an in-country steel pot. Any other thoughts on it? Do you reckon it's been put-together because of the late Korean War chinstrap, '66 dated liner, and '68 dated cover? Or do you think it has been in this state for a while? -

I found a reverse image that said this was Naval Air Facility but can track down nothing but a canadian patch using the same moto. Thanks in advance. -

From what I see, they look like US made patches used anytime from the late 1960s to mid 2000s. The value probably wouldn't be that much for most of them. However, that being said, it looks like you might ( I cannot tell for sure) have a mid-1960s 44th medical brigade patch at the bottom of the second photo and a mid1960s USARV patch at the bottom of the third photo. Those might bring $10.00 each if they are what I think they are. I would have to see closer shots of them to be sure. Just my 2 centavos. I am sure others will chime in. -

Hello, I have an opportunity to buy this group lot of patches. I am a WWII collector and not knowledgeable about post war patches or dating post war patches. Based on the photos provided are you able to date these patches? Also, if you are able to please pm me with what you would feel would be a value on them. If anyone could respond as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Sammy T -

I recently came across a leather sheath for the M1 carbine that was dated 1942 and produced by Lyon & Coulson. I tried to find additional information on how common or uncommon this item was but couldn't find much. I know L&C produced the M6 scabbard and various other leather items during WW2 but would appreciate any information other members have on the production of M1 carbine leather sheaths by L&C during WW2. Thanks. I have attached pictures below for reference.
