Thanks for posting, yokota57. I remember a toast from long ago: “Sweat dries, blood clots, bones heal; but our Country must endure. To America.” I would only add “… and to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep it safe.” -

Surprising found today in the flea market, the original comission for Brigader General James O Newton to Adjuacent General of Texas. Absolutely stunned to have a small, but incredible piece of Texas National Guard history. -

Sino-American Cooperative Organization (SACO) For Memorial Day 2025 below are two additional SACO emblems from my collection. Perhaps one of the rarest yet most attractive SACO patches is the highly symbolic design shown below. It was known by the men as the “Draggin’ Anchor patch”, the term of endearment given land-bound Navy sailors who comprised SACO. “Draggin’ Anchor” jacket patch | theater made | Chinese silk embroidery on silk SACO jacket patch | theater-made | multi-piece canvas with embroidered detail; mounted on leather -

Those knives, tunnnel lamps, and sapper necklaces are all bogus—-if u message him about any you will get a great capture story . He sold a pair of captured “vc handcuffs” a while back that turned out to be modern landscape tree ties—he forgot to scrub the manufacturer label off!. -

I tried looking on Amazon too, didn't really see a retail style display case I liked. I have still be trying to looking for one. Im trying to hold myself back from spending $600 but that seems to be the only option for a retail display case. I gave up on Facebook marketplace it feels more like a scam then a marketplace. Either they have what you're looking for but they won't respond or they will agree to hold it for you, then out of nowhere they sell it to someone else. But, maybe it's not as bad as I think and I have just been having bad experiences. I'll have to check Amazon again, it has been awhile since I scrolled through Amazon. My only problem with Amazon, lately it seems the future on Amazon has been getting worse in quality. All the modern Amazon furniture feels like plastic but maybe I'm just looking at the wrong Amazon sellers. -

Well...in 40 years of collecting , I've NEVER seen any of these patches...in any reference books for the Free French insignas. Any the units of the "afrique Française Libre" were Batalions ( bataillons de marche"), not regiments. The units have very well documented metal badges. I really doubt these patchs were made for any french units. The Afrique Française Libre was a provisory goverment ("Haut Commisariat") , not a political party.
