Well...in 40 years of collecting , I've NEVER seen any of these patches...in any reference books for the Free French insignas. Any the units of the "afrique Française Libre" were Batalions ( bataillons de marche"), not regiments. The units have very well documented metal badges. I really doubt these patchs were made for any french units. The Afrique Française Libre was a provisory goverment ("Haut Commisariat") , not a political party. -

My rifle has a star over the Cranston Arms stamping. The small five-pointed star above the "CRANSTON/ARMS/CO." stamp indicates that this M1941 Johnson rifle was inspected by the Dutch Netherlands Purchasing Commission circa August 1940.
