Thanks for answering. The National CW & before Register I think was started before the Gettysburg tally. Ed Olmstead & friends started the register, and Jim Bender is the current scorekeeper. A few new pieces are still found occasionally. The survival of these early cannon is more than would be expected, after the WW2 scrap drives destroyed a large number of tubes. Avoid this seller—about everything he sells is fake as they come—he has a capture story on everything as well. Sadly many a people have bought the bogus stories and items. He used to source modern day items from asia, doctor them up, make up a story, and now you have an authentic VC item. -
