We received some great Civil War items from another museum this week and while most are straight forward and easily identifiable but the canteen is strange. It looks a bit like a Confederate drum canteen but the mouth piece is odd to me. Any thoughts or info would be appreciated. Thanks. Scott. -

This is a Kingston, name usually found on the clevis but not always. The Stevensons have a similar style can opener on most knives, but non of them have those markings on the can opener.. -
