. Thank you mikie and everyone else . . . . . . . . .   thirty years ago on our Jeeping trips through Normandy, Arnhem and the Belgian Ardennes I belonged to a group called IUTA ( International Understanding Through Alcohol ).  We have a similar thing going here without the alcohol, we have Dutch, Belgians, French, Americans and Brits.  !!!! And I think it works well.     Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, May 22  2O25.    ….

Hello, your great-grandfather sailed to France on August 6th 1918, as replacement for the missing soldiers of the 111th. At that very moment, his future brother in arms were about to know some of the worst combat they will see from the War during the Vesle Area operations.   Another 111th inf, Co. C soldier from Montenegro, James Mestrovich was about to save his company commander (and by so earning a Medal of Honor)  * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_I._Mestrovitch   Mestrovitch died on November 4th too...     I'm 99.9% sure they knew each others, two Montenegrins in the same Company !   Sadly, coming with replacement troops, Peter does not appear on the 111th Roster...

I've got this Team Spirit 87 MP Brassard. I took a search in the web about this  and found out that "Team Spirit Training Exercise" was a maneuver/exercise between the US Forces Korea and the South Korean Military. Strange to me is , why create a MP Brassard for about a 4 week exercise/maneuver ? political interests ? Would be interesting if someone of you can give me an answer.

The 91stBG(H) did not have an approved insignia during WWII, but the image with the dark blue disk (created by Disney Studios) is generally recognized as representing this unit during the war. The second image (light blue disk) appeared in the 1990 movie 'Memphis Belle', but to date I have been unsuccessful in establishing a reason why this design was selected for the movie and just where it came from originally. At this time I can only surmise that there was some concern regarding copyright usage involved. Can anyone shed some light on this matter?
