I don’t know if this post is still of interest, but I just purchased this authentic 1969 Vietnam era OD-107 jungle fatigue top with the subdued 101st Airborne shoulder patch. As far as I can determine it’s original. The stitches on the patch seem irregular and white, but under a magnifying glass it’s most definitely faded olive. And the backside of the area where the patch is is pretty puckered, so it’s been on the coat for a long time. -
