Probably not possible to ID based on the awards. DFC and AM are too generic to pin down a specific airman. Whenever I try to ID something based on awards, my baseline is some sort of valor award such as Silver Star or higher. You’d also want to look out for other unique awards (foreign decorations, LOM on an enlisted uniform, etc.). -

I’ve only had a little spare time here and there lately but did some puttering the past couple of days. I concentrated on getting the op rod, receiver and bolt assembled and fit tested. It more or less works but still plenty of fine tuning needed. Not really needed for a wall hanger, but I’m never satisfied if I can help it. I’m considering what to do about the demilling gaps in the receiver. Leave as-is? Fill them in somehow? Looks like I’ll be burning up some more of my ever scarcer brain cells. mikie -
