I had one of these suits sealed but opened it within the past year it has a reflective patch for identification in nighttime environments as well. They came in 2 patterns 3 color Desert and 3 woodland. Unlike other chemical protective suits these are actually relatively fire proof according to the NSN Data -

This is a request for anyone with items from Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland during its early years 1918 through 1929ish. I'm looking for badges and newsletters/yearbooks mostly but anything else specific to the arsenal would be great. I'm presenting a historical perspective of the arsenal during its early years locally and wanted to see if I flush out more photos or artifacts to enrich the presentation. Thanks in advance, RP Steve -

The flash looks 1960’s/70’s era, but I believe Denmarks sold that type beret in the 1970’s (and a little later). -

I would too, I’ve been looking for one with a stripe, NCO or officers for awhile and if I could find one cheaper I would have purchased one already. -

Trying to determine approximate date of attached—the pin is marked s-21. Thoughts? -

Wow didn’t take long, I would have snagged that one up but even 55 minutes was way too late. I was lucky enough to find a navy fixed bale blue helmet with a Hawley liner straight from the family estate for $750, it’s my only recent untouched example that I know is complete and not messed with. I still need a follow me stripe officer or NCO lid and then one with a low pressure liner. If I do get this eBay example I may marry it with a good rubber liner that I may be buying as well but it would be great to find an actual set.
