Hello all! I started my next project, as you can see by the title. I've begun with the crew figures of this 105mm howitzer. But I was very disappointed with the quality of the figures. They are supposed to be resin, but it seems like either the mold was bad, or they were skimping on the resin. Luckily, I had mistakenly ordered 2 sets and I'm glad I did. They say that 'you get what you pay for' and unfortunately, I did. But I was looking for USMC artillery gun crew for Vietnam, and although the best figures that fit the bill, were from King and Country, they, along with the howitzer, were already built and they wanted to charge and exorbitant amount of cash. Be advised that in the last pic, you can see the bad figure's arms. Semper Fi. Manny -

From the same seller as the USS Alexandria and sold at the same time. -

Looks great, Manny! Love the details such as the trash/rubbish on the base. Makes it really look like a photograph of the real events! -

So I picked up this group over the weekend not knowing anything about this guys service. It turns out he was assigned to Hq Co., Sery Bn, 1 S. S. F. Group for a period of time and most likely served with them when they went to the Aleutian Islands in 1943. Any additional information on him and his service would be appreciated -

The inside usually has most of the damage anyway. Kill the rust. A late WW2 helmet with a beautiful Vietnam paint job. It's a display piece. -

Yeah it's weird, Mabey the seller just saw the color of the inside of the pot and didn't bother to take the cover off? I am truly stumped. Thanks for your response!
