Looks like early use of the M1903A3 rifle. You can see the flat stamped bands and the 2 piece bands near the front sights. Handguards are too long for the M1903 rear sight. cool pix. -

Hello everyone, After years of half-assedly searching, I finally found a nice marine officer dress blue jacket. I lucked into it at the Greely gun show earlier today for a pretty good price even tho it’s missing all of its insignia. I’m especially not looking forwad to paying for replacement EGAs, but I got to do it. I did a preliminary search online for the original owner, but couldn’t find anything other than an entry on Ancestry (couldn’t view it because I don’t have a subscription). I’m hoping some of you charitable research experts might be able to give me a hand…. I ran the name tag through a couple photo filters to sharpen the printed text. Looks like 6/16/1942 with the name of Lieutenant R R Juby. Interesting last name no doubt. -

No not unless you have the dial unit. The PBX sees a standard LB field phone as a constant off hook and will error the line out. The dial unit has a hook switch that controls this. The FF63 has two binding posts inside the cover. -
