Kurt - I guess that is the million dollar question - isn't It! In it's form as worn by Nathan in the picture - a very sadly no. I have the battle jacket in the photo - all patches were removed prior to my inheriting it. All patches remain except for the star of the show, and that in itself is a whole different story. The 5th AF Roundel is composed of 2 lower layers of cloth and 1 top layer of felt. The Armament Specialist patch is 1 of (3). The SSgt chevrons are the first of (2) pairs - his second set is lighter sand in color with a propeller blade in the center. The wings are Australian made, this is 1 of (2) examples in the archive. The service stripes are gold/brown bullion on olive drab. -

Hi Reach22, I would love to have the dimensions of the canopy handle. The "frame" is nearly finished and has a bracket for the O2 and G-suit coupling welded onto it. I designed a pneumatically actuated and gas-spring driven catapult, but this doesnt work the way I want to so I have some redesigning to do... Overall quite pleased with the design and function. The DUI is for the 26th Infantry. That should mean he was part of the 1st Division. The image look too fuzzy to make out the details of the collar disks. -

I would not begin to know how to research his DUI or find his insignia. Any ideas? -
