Ah, okay, thank you. Can we wire the FF-63 to our PBX? I notice the connections look like mic jacks. But by any chance, can the LA and LB terminals on the FF-63M take wires too? Or, will we have to custom make a mic jack plug?

Ya I have tried that in the past. I use several different backgrounds depending on what I am taking a picture off. However I rarely use paper anymore as it doesn't turn out like people think it dose.    Also this website dampers the pictures at times depending on the resolution of the pictures. So it may seem a little blurry on here but in reality its a crystal clear picture.

I have ended up with 2 U.S. Military Knives Bayonets & Machetes Book 3 By M. H. Cole & I was hoping to trade to someone for book 4 or other knife books or knife things. It is in good condition and still has the dust cover. There is a little discoloration on the first page inside the cover in the front and same in the back which are both blank pages, all other pages are very good. I would be willing to add a little $ if necessary. I have also put this in the trade area, but thought since this is a knife book maybe here would be a good idea as well. Thank you, John

From memory….I think the “P ++” indicates extra powder bags. The 105mm Howitzer projectile was not crimped in place,  in other words the case contained powder bags which were removed/ added when assembling, according  to range of the projectile. Shorter range two or three powder bags, longer range 5 bags of propellant. If I recall correctly, 4 or 5 was normally supplied, adding one or two more ( which were red in color) extended the range to maximum.

If that is steel it is likely a depleted uranium (DU) penetrator round.  I have seen first hand the damage these rounds will do to steel armor.  It is hard to get a frame of reference from the picture to guess the size of the penetration.    So it could likely be 20mm DU rounds from AH-1, 25mm DU round from the Bushmaster on a Bradley or 30 mm DU rounds from  A-10 to name a few.
