The 1860 Lorenz percussion rifle is marked on the stock OHIO Co H. The photo album is from a CB who went in to Normandy on D-Day plus one. -

The glider was never removed from the airborne cap patch. This patch was used right up to the time the overseas cap was replaced by the beret. -

Thanks for posting your Practice Frag Grenade. You have a late WW2 Mk. II, with a nice M10A3 fuse. Notice the "half moon" Striker Hinge Pin. This fuze dates to the mid-1944 time frame. No reason to assume any other period for the grenade body as well. Besides the blue color denoting a practice grenade, the opening on the bottom of your grenade is larger than the standard threaded 9/16" hole, which would be the configuration for a grenade meant to contain an explosive load. This bottom opening for a grenade receiving a lethal load would be the same size as the threaded opening that receives the fuze. Practice grenades had a cork inserted in the opening. These grenades would contain a non-lethal amount of black gun powder meant to go off producing a puff of black smoke when used in training. -

Ah, okay, thank you. Can we wire the FF-63 to our PBX? I notice the connections look like mic jacks. But by any chance, can the LA and LB terminals on the FF-63M take wires too? Or, will we have to custom make a mic jack plug?
