early rangers/scouts in training? the lighter weapons make me think of a unit that would travel light for those kind of missions. Also, Marines and Navy CB's would have been issued 03's at this time right? definetly an interesting photo. -

I’m with Doyler. Those look like Navy guys. CB’s maybe even a Stevedore group. -

The PCU-17 along with the HBU-6/P safety strap is used as a crew restraint harness by both the Air Force and Navy. It would be used in aircraft such as the C-17, C-130, P-3, and C-2. It was not designed for helicopters. -

You have the dialer in your OB ZB video. Do you still own it? If yes, can you check it out, when you have time? I have two of those dialers, but only one ob/zb set. I don't want to buy another ob/zb. I would like some variety in my collection. So I was wondering if I can use that extra dialer with the FF-63M. -

Hello Field Phone Guy... regarding the FF-63M. You mentioned in your video the top two bolts are for a dialer. Would we be able to use the same dialer that was made for the OB/ZB? -

An S&R mark would be consistent with a M1916 holster made by Sheffer & Rossum of St. Paul, MN during WW1. Regards, Charlie -

Only ever seen screwed. It was far too easy to punch a hole and screw one on rather than screw with glue or solder.
