It's a nice looking hat...the one close up that would be nice to have is of the calling card inside the hat. It's a "fur felt" one that was common to all Army and AAF officers. The numbers on the tag don't mean anything...they are simply stock numbers from the selling company. Since that tag is still on there and the general condition of the hat, it looks like it was probably never worn, or worn very rarely. Hope that helps! Dave -

Sharing a purchase that's been cooking for over a year. From the estate of the vet that brought it back. Not a Raider but probably was grabbed after most of the knives were exchanged. Kurt helped with the research on the Marine. G2
