Picked up a few bargains today, ready for our entry back into Jeep ownership. well my lad, I'm too wise to go back down that road 40 yrs after my first Jeep. This way I will get to play mechanic and share in some of the fun of Jeep ownership . That's all to come, in the meantime I'm gathering bits as and when I find them just in case. -

Here's two more, one is lightweight. Both have a "combat" jump indicator on the parachutist's wings. I think the Field Artillery LTC's was worn by the 2nd battalion, 319th Field Artillery commander. -

From the thread I can see it was designed to accommodate but it looks like as time went on, that requirement fell to the wayside -

. Hi Graham, thanks for keeping some of the catalogs I did and your kind comment about the contents and photos, one of the rear cover photos you have shown is a photograph of John Rowe who Johan and I mentioned a few posts ago at Easter, it was one of the photo reconstructions we did around the late 80's early 90's . All the kit worn by everyone were original items and the photos often taken by Simone Pugh who is seen in the top left rear cover kneeling holding a camera. Norman D.
