I am a newbie, so I hope I am posting in the correct place.    I found this Field Phone at a recent estate sale and know nothing about it. I think it was used during World War II and the Vietnam War. I do not believe the strap was original to the case. I believe the strap belongs to an older model Field Phone. Can anyone help me identify this Field Phone and explain the 250 marking in red and yellow, as well as the number 2 marking in yellow located on he front of the case? 2.jfif 3.jfif 4.jfif 5.jfif

Looks like a 1950’s reproduction due to the suspension ring thickness.   about $20 dollars of value    Bill

Please show thickness, as well. That can be a tell in determining authenticity. It does look sloppily reribboned, though.

It is rare to find the tools, but none of the tools in your roll look to be .50 cal tools.  Without laying them out it's a bit tough to tell, but not one of them look to be 50 tools....sorry

As WW2IMP said, Navy officers used all style khaki shirts purchased from their own funds. Basic style has no "epaulettes" but they are visible from time to time on photos...   '
