The pendant is an original Navy type that was produced by the mint circa 1930. The brooch and maybe the ribbon also have been added to complete the medal.

I found this Ww2 Sterling Silver Driver pin today at my local antique store. I have seen the top part as well as the Driver W bar before however I have never seen the Driver M bar before.    My question is is the Driver M bar harder to find? Also what do the different letters mean?
