You can post the sword on the Japanese sub forum on Wehrmacht Awards Forum. Several established Japanese sword collectors reside on that site. As a side note, I cant imagine why you would want to remove the leather. I doubt any serious sword collectors would recommend that.

Despite the cold and windy day, I attended the monthly flea market. I bought this bag for a mere $10. I wasn’t sure what it was. But thanks to my copy of everyone’s favorite Normandy correspondent’s bible of US Army equipment, I was able to confirm it is a bazooka ammunition bag. The divider straps mentioned in the book had been cut off sometime since Victory Canvas Co. made the bag in 1944.  Now I have to resist buying some rockets, and building a demilled bazooka.  Mikie
